This busy county facility would endure high public use and visibility. The county desired a building identical in appearance and function to the existing site built structures.
An intricate high rib steel mansard with steel roof covering, was implemented into the design to match the architectural features of the adjacent courthouse facility.
Minimal maintenance and upkeep were the other design criteria for this project. We accomplished this by integrating a permanent foundation system, upgraded structural package, energy efficient insulated stucco exterior, and While the building was being constructed at the manufacturing plant the site was being prepared for communications, utility connections, fire suppression systems, and ADA access.
This allowed the county employees to move into their new facility in under 90 days. | |  |
The administration was pleased at the permanence of this new structure and how well it blended in with the existing buildings in the annex. Indeed modular construction was a cost-effective solution to Gila County’s space needs.
