Hopi Multi-Generational Facility
Navajo and Hopi lands were in a disputed area for many years. Once a resolution was passed and the funds were approved small communities needed to have a place to call their own to socialize and hold important community events. Modular Solutions, Ltd. was hired to create a design/build project for this new community center project.
The community center needed to include energy efficient construction methods such as insulated foam under stucco finish, and 2x6 stud walls. Modular Solutions, Ltd. also had to provide a commercial kitchen for all of the food preparation that would be a standard for community events. |  |  |
 | | Hopi elders were hoping for a brick finish, but the site development fees had an impact on the total budget due to remote location. Modular Solutions, Ltd. came up with this synthetic brick finish that save time and money & the elders were pleased to get the little brick school house look they desired.
The Unique site required a nontraditional shape, and Modular Solutions, Ltd. came up with the T-shape to fit on the site and keep separation of areas, with a common goal of community. |
This 5000 sq ft building was completed with all aspects of the design incorporated into the total budget.
